Sophie Wilde, an Ivorian-Australian actress, has won praise for her first major TV role, starring as young musician Scout in Australian drama Eden, which launched June 2021.

The Sydney-born star had previously only appeared in stage productions and short film Bird, but has now been lauded a rising talent on the scene, and has secured her debut film role: appearing in the upcoming fantasy feature The Portable Door, starring Sam Neill, set for a 2022 release.
